TravelStorysGPS LLC, a Wyoming-based, woman-owned SaaS company, offers a patented, award-winning mobile platform—TravelStorys™—designed to deliver engaging, location-aware audio tours in realtime.

Recognized as the premier mobile audio tour partner for destination-driven organizations and mission-based institutions, TravelStorysGPS specializes in increasing visitor engagement, supporting economic development, and amplifying the unique stories of place.

Our company provides full-service support across every phase of audio tour creation—from strategy and scripting to production, launch, and promotion. Each GPS-triggered tour is crafted to deliver a seamless, hands-free audio experience on visitors’ mobile devices, even in areas without cell service.

All tours are delivered through our highly rated TravelStorys app, which combines dependable audio with a rich multimedia experience including photos, videos, and interactive maps. We host tours on our shared and searchable platform, offering our partners global visibility, increased discoverability, and shared marketing opportunities.

To date, TravelStorysGPS has collaborated with more than 150 organizations—including destination marketing organizations, national and local nonprofits, scenic byways, parks, cultural and historical sites, hotels, and conservation groups—producing over 9,000 mini-podcast-style stories spanning 47 U.S. states and 4 countries.

Story has used her expertise starting and growing innovative nonprofit organizations to develop her mission-driven SaaS company, TravelStorysGPS. She founded the company with the goal of producing quality geolocational mobile content to enrich travelers' experiences and deepen their connections to place.

Catherine Smith

CFO

Before joining TravelStorysGPS, Catherine was the commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development. Prior to that, she had a distinguished career in the insurance and financial services industry, including various leadership positions at Aetna and ING.

Christie Koriakin

Christie Koriakin

Director of Audio Production

Christie has spent more than a decade shaping the TravelStorysGPS mobile audio-tour production process and establishing the highest-possible standards for tours built in collaboration with clients. She combines an expertise in audio production with a passion for finding inspiring stories. Her previous background includes work in community radio, independent film and print journalism.

David Worth

David Worth

Software Development Manager

David has been a software engineer and mathematician since 2008. He graduated from University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in mathematics and computer science. David has brought more than 20 products to market, from mobile apps to Xbox One games.

Matt is a software engineer from Aurora, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Innovation in Game Design and Development, with a minor in Computer Science.

QA Software Engineer & Webmaster

Jeffrey is our go-to quality assurance guy. He handles testing of all of our new features, squashing bugs, overseeing our customer support, and managing our website. His passions outside of work include game development and cooking.

Liz's primary role at TravelStorysGPS is editing narration scripts to produce the best possible audio tour experiences. She began her career in the Discovery Channel's Original Production Unit before becoming an author, book editor, and longtime journalist.

After teaching mathematics for 15 years at high school and college levels, Amy and her family moved to the Wyoming area for a new adventure. Amy enjoys supporting the TravelStorys team and providing excellent customer service for our clients.

Todd comes from many years of producing audio for public radio, podcasts and a tech-based startup. He loves the immersive opportunity TravelStorys provides for audio storytelling — the marriage of audio and technology to deepen our connection to the physical world.

Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Catherine moved to Jackson, Wyoming, in 2009 to pursue her love for the outdoors and give guided horseback tours in Grand Teton National Park.
